Why peter obi will make a better president than Tinubu

The fact that you need to be told or convinced that Tinubu and APC don’t mean well for Nigeria and Nigerians is very concerning, considering how much Nigeria has deteriorated under the "watchful eye" of the APC on every indicator of development ;

Economy - On the issue of the economy , the purchasing power of the naira deteriorated by above 55% in the past 3years alone in the international market moving from 460 naira to dollar as of may 2023 to 1350 today; the inflation rate rose as high as 35% due to petrol subsidy removal , though peter Obi supports the removal of subsidy, but said that he have implemented the policy in a more organized and structured manner unlike what the current administration did. and that the money saved would be visibly invested in areas such as healthcare, education, infrastructure and poverty elevation programs.

Security - Our security structure and the security of the nation are in shambles, especially in the north. I cannot completely blame this administration for the sad state of security in the country, but we have never had this bad in the history of Nigeria

Judiciary – in the case of our judiciary, it is a complete shame; some verdicts by the supposed SANS, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Clear examples points the 2023 presidential elections tribunal and most recently the controversial life imprisonment of mazi Nnamdi kalu the supposed leader of the indigenous people of Biafra.

Law makers – our supposed lawmakers have become another enablers of the recklessness of this administration instead of checkmating their policies, they're nicknamed the rubberstamp senate under the guidance of godswill Akpabio a close ally of the president. Watching the senate debate on matters of importance that literally affect every Nigerian is seen as a joke , no proper scrutinizing by the opposition , that’s if theirs any opposition left in the senate.

I remember the senate president making a joke about it,how they're are begging senators from jumping ships which in their defense is for self preservation cause this administration made it a mandate to go after any opposition they consider a threat by using law enforcement agencies like the efcc , a clear example is El rufai who is currently still in detention but once you jump ships and join the apc all your sins are forgiven , clear example is the former kogi state governor who was decleared wanted by the efcc but is currently running for office under the apc while his case is still in court. It dosent matter your crimes once you’ve joined the apc all your sins are forgiven

Education – I will not say they’ve completely failed in this aspect , same way you cant say they’ve made any progress , this admistration introduced nelfund for students who cant afford to pay fees its like the students loan in America , but in the case of students welfare no progress , infrastructural decay is still a major topic of discussion in federal universities across the country and these are the problems the nelfund was supposed to solve so you see.

HealthCare – on the issue of health the brain drain nigeria is one of worst the data avaliable shows that Out of over 74,000 to 75,000 registered doctors in nigeria , only about 55,000 (or half) actively practice in Nigeria.

they say health is wealth , but under this adminstration we have seen more fake goods in the market than the original ones , you are not hoping not to buy fake goods just hoping not to buy the one that kills you . these includes baby formulas , who would hurt a child ? because theirs no consequences for their evil and nafdac an agency that is supposed to , I meant to say mandated to protect Nigerian lives through regulations and strict policies rather the MD is busy calling nigrians names on natinal tv.

Infrastructural Decay- for this article we're going to focus on the state of our roads. the condition of our major roads is probably one of the worst in Africa, which is nuts considering how much they contribute to, and affect, the economy. Either the roads are poorly built or badly maintained. The state of the so-called federal roads is really nothing to write home about. what peter obi would differently is simple; instead of spending billions of dollars building new roads that will never be completed as in the case of the coastal high , peter would rather spend that m0ney rehabilitating the existing roads upto standard.

Marginalization of the South and North – the most recently indicator is the proposed new sea port in Ogun state , to decongest Lagos .Tinubu administration completely ignored the already existing sea ports in the south but instead option to build a new one in the west bare in mind that theirs no formal seaport at full capacity in the south even with direct access to the Atlantic.

Unemployment Rate – Nigeria has the youth  unemployment rate is one of the worst in the world, for context Nigeria has a population of over 250 million people and more than 45% of that number are young people.
