British-Nigerian Influencer Dies After Penis Enlargement Procedure in Thailand

Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, a 43-year-old British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer, has died following complications from a cosmetic penis enlargement procedure carried out during a trip to Thailand.

Details of his death emerged following an inquest at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court, where evidence linked the procedure to a fatal pulmonary embolism.

Who Was Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo?

Ubiribo, also known by the names Denisi and Ego, was a businessman and social media personality known for showcasing a luxury lifestyle online. He reportedly had about 185,000 Instagram followers.

The 43-year-old was in Bangkok on a luxury holiday with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, when he underwent the cosmetic procedure at an unnamed clinic in March 2026.

According to evidence presented at the inquest, approximately 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected during the procedure.

He Collapsed After Complaining of Chest Pain

Following the procedure, Ubiribo and his wife reportedly went for a massage.

It was during the massage that he began complaining of chest pain before collapsing twice.

He was subsequently taken by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital in Bangkok. He was initially conscious and able to respond to medical staff, while his wife informed doctors about the recent cosmetic injections.

However, his condition deteriorated rapidly and he lost consciousness before a recommended CT scan could be completed.

Doctors diagnosed him with a pulmonary embolism, a potentially fatal condition involving a blockage in a blood vessel supplying the lungs.

Doctors Tried to Save His Life

Ubiribo was transferred to intensive care as doctors attempted to save him.

Medical personnel reportedly performed CPR for more than 100 minutes, but he died in the early hours of March 6, 2026.

A subsequent post-mortem examination in the United Kingdom reportedly found material in his lungs consistent with the hyaluronic acid used during the cosmetic treatment.

Coroner Jean Harkin concluded that Ubiribo's death resulted from a pulmonary embolism linked to complications from the cosmetic procedure.

A Tragic End to a Luxury Trip

The death has attracted attention because Ubiribo had travelled to Thailand with his wife for what was described as a luxury holiday before undergoing the procedure.

News of his death has also circulated widely across Nigerian and British media, with reports highlighting his business activities, social-media presence and connections within Nigeria's entertainment and social circles.

The case has renewed attention on the potential risks associated with cosmetic procedures and the importance of ensuring that such treatments are performed by qualified medical professionals in properly regulated facilities.

What Is a Pulmonary Embolism?

A pulmonary embolism occurs when a blood clot or other material blocks a blood vessel in the lungs. It can become life-threatening if blood flow to the lungs is severely restricted.

In Ubiribo's case, the London inquest concluded that the fatal embolism was connected to complications arising from the cosmetic treatment.
